The B&B La Chiesuola, nestled in a gorgeous park where you can feel a very peaceful and relaxed vibe, among flowers and greenery, rises 600 meters above sea level, in Tuscia, upper Lazio, a few kilometers from Bagnaia, a hamlet of Viterbo, situated on the stretch of the Via Francigena that passes between the Cimini mountains, famous for the Italian Mannerist Garden of Villa Lante created by Vignola. Its location is perfect for exploring Viterbo, only 5 km away, which was the papal seat in the second half of the 15th century with its stunning palace, the medieval quarters of San Pellegrino and Pianoscarano, beautiful fountains and Romanesque churches, not forgetting the numerous thermal baths and free sulfur springs. The region is renowned for the architectural beauty of its many medieval villages such as Vitorchiano, San Martino al Cimino, Vignanello with its 16th-century castle and Italian garden, Vallerano, the Park of Monsters in Bomarzo and the Etruscan pyramid, Chia, Soriano al Cimino, Farnese Palace in Caprarola also with its Italian garden, Ronciglione, Sutri with its famous Mitreo, Roccasecca, Tuscania, Tarquinia, Montefiascone, and Orte. The area also has a rich Etruscan and Villanovan archaeological heritage with interesting rock necropolises.

At B&B La Chiesuola, in Bagnaia, Lazio, the friendly and welcoming owner offers her guests 8 rooms, all provided with private bathrooms and all modern comforts, 3 on the first and second floors of the main structure, 3 below the restaurant hall, at pool level, and 2 in a structure located above. The 3 rooms located in the main structure, completely renovated, 35, 40 and 60 m2 respectively, are spacious, well-kept, elegant, and furnished with antique furniture. The Suite, on two floors includes two large balconies overlooking the Palanzana, Cimino and S. Valentino mountains, Viterbo and the sea. In the annex below the restaurant, there are 2 rooms measuring 20 and 35 m2 and a two-room apartment, tastefully furnished. In the Dependance located above are 2 almost twin rooms of 20 m2 with a large terrace overlooking the mountains.

Trekking, hiking and biking enthusiasts can discover the nature reserve of the Arcionello Valley and the beech forest of Mount Cimino, one of the most majestic and ancient beech forests in Europe, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and marvel at the beautiful landscapes of the volcanic lakes of Bolsena, Vico and Bracciano, characterized by delightful medieval villages. Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe, has two islands, Martana and Bisentina, inhabited since the Bronze Age and served by a boat service.
