The Agriturismo Il Granaio, located in Modica, a lovely Sicilian town with plenty of palaces and churches dating back to the eighteenth century, is a haven of peace and tranquility both in summer and winter. Catania, one of the most beautiful cities from the artistic point of view, with numerous architectural works built or renovated in the first half of the ‘700 in full Baroque style; Militello and Caltagirone, also famous for the production of traditional ceramics.

The Agriturismo Il Granaio, in Modica, Sicily, was born from the passion of a family that has preserved the charm of the old country house with the local stone structure and exposed beams ceiling, creating a reality where traditional Sicilian style and contemporary elements coexist, thanks to the use of ancient materials processed by local craftsmen. Ideal for a vacation in couple or family, you can choose between several solutions: Classic and Deluxe double rooms, 2 Junior Suites and 2 Suites, furnished combining local style and modern comfort, elegant colors and fabrics, all different, equipped with king-size beds, free wi-fi, satellite TV, safe, air conditioning, heating and complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms, overlooking the pool and the garden rich in olive trees and Mediterranean essences. The Agriturismo is the ideal solution to relax or celebrate any kind of event, in the heart of the garden which features two swimming pools, one large and one small, where you can swim or relax while enjoying the view of the surrounding countryside. From the gazebo you can enjoy the view of the pool and garden, have breakfast or a light lunch or sip an aperitif while watching the sunset.
At the restaurant, that only uses local products , you can enjoy flavours ,colours and perfumes of the territory .Guests can also enjoy an outdoor fitness area and a SPA wellness center to restore mind and body with Jacuzzi pool, sauna, turkish bath, Kneipp, emotional showers, ice waterfall, Scottish shower and a wide range of facial and body treatments and massages, relaxation area with aromatic herbal teas. Particularly aware of environmental issues, the owners have achieved 90% of autonomy from electricity thanks to two solar thermal systems and a biomass boiler fueled with prunings of the farm attached to the facility.
