Tenuta Tenaglia, in Serralunga di Crea, Piedmont, was named after the renowned farm founded in 1600 by Giorgio Tenaglia, a valiant captain of fortune who, during his leisure time, enjoyed producing wine, breeding horses and supporting artistic activities as a patron, such as decorating some of the chapels of the nearby Santuario di Crea. Throughout the centuries the estate has experienced many ups and downs and different owners. In 2000, Hannelore and Alois Ehrmann decided to make their dream of producing wine in Italy come true and bought the property, which now belongs to Sabine who, with her sons, takes care of its management and wine production. The estate offers three apartments, two for four people and one for two, for a minimum stay of two nights, completely renovated, tastefully furnished, equipped with air conditioning and all comforts: living room with sofa, well equipped kitchen with dining area and private bathroom with bathtub or shower. A free private parking is available for guests.
Tenuta Tenaglia offers its guests wide outdoor spaces. You can swim in the outdoor swimming pool, relax in the garden and in the many terraces from which you can enjoy the landscape, or enjoy trekking and bike rides. You can also visit the historical cellars to discover Monferrato’s wine world, taste the wines of the estate in the beautiful tasting room overlooking the vineyards. Moreover, since 2020 the estate is also an Art Residence, which offers its guests the opportunity to attend to many cultural activities, classical music concerts, theatrical performances and conferences.
