Tenuta la Pergola, in Bardolino, Veneto, has always been owned by a family with different passions – boat, car, nature, books and culture. Sarah’s grandmother, the present owner, made it her residence in the 70s. Her son, after working abroad and in Italy, fell in love with the countryside and especially with the olive growing and founded the farm La Pergola, which he developed with his daughters Aline and Sarah. The hospitality is caring and courteous. Three buildings are located within the estate: the Villa, built in the 40s and renovated in 2014, features an elegant and refined country atmosphere, with an aristocratic past visible in the refined objects of the beautiful living room, where the modern and the ancient blend together to create new balances. It represents the air, with the terrace overlooking the lake and the particular windows, large, oversized. The four rooms, elegant and spacious, with antique furniture, mini fridge and wardrobe at the entrance, overlook the lake and the hills. They bear the names of the constellations. La Cascina is a rustic building, made of stone and wood, renovated in the 70s and then in 2011. It represents the land. In the living room guests will find many books in Italian, English, French from different times. The seven rooms bear the name of the types of olive trees on the estate. They are furnished with antique and simple furniture, wooden floors and exposed beams, all overlooking the lake and with private bathroom. The Dependance is an independent house located on the ground floor, with living room, kitchen, large bathroom, bedroom and a second bedroom. It boasts modern finishes, essential lines and antique furnishings. Characterized by its spherical shape, it bears the name of the Moon. It has a furnished and private outdoor green space. The products for breakfast are organic or local without preservatives and fresh according to the seasons. All paper is recycled and detergents are organic and non-polluting.
