Roncolo 1888 is a beautiful B&B in Roncolo di Quattro Castella, in the province of Reggio Emilia. The B&B is next to Villa Manodori, a beautiful building dating back to the 17th century included in the park of Venturini Baldini farm. The property extends for 150 hectares, 30 of which are vineyards, and is located among the Historical Matildic Hills in an area surrounded by greenery and vineyards. The villages including Canossa, and the places dear to the Gran Countess Matilde were involved in many historical events. Today you can visit the area following the Sentiero di Matilde (Matilde’s way) between Parma and Lucca. In Parma you can visit the wonderful Cathedral and the Baptistery, the Cittadella, the Palazzo della Pilotta, the National Gallery of Parma and the Farnese Theater. In Reggio Emilia you can visit the City Hall with the Sala del Tricolore and the beautiful Basilica of San Prospero. Roncolo 1888 provides to its guests three rooms with air conditioning, one of them with a fireplace. Also is available a spacious suite consisting of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchenette. On request they can add beds with safey rails for children, and some double rooms can be transformed into a twin room with separated beds.
