Paola’S is an apartment on the ground floor of a splendid villa located in the picturesque village of Belgirate, on the shores of Lake Maggiore in Piedmont, and it enjoys the most spectacular views of the lake thanks to its position on a hill terrace.  This area, known as the Italian Lake District, is famous for its lovely little beaches and villas, the boat trips and its clubs and restaurants that serve delicious fish dishes.  From Belgirate one can easily reach Stresa, a beautiful and renowned resort town from whose jetty boats head for the Borromean Islands, carrying visitors to explore their magnificent palaces and luxuriant gardens.  Arona, another attractive town by the lake over which rises the dominating statue of Saint Charles Borromeo, is ideal for a stroll on the lakefront; on the opposite side of the bank is Angera, with its medieval Fortress which holds exhibitions and events.

The villa where Paola’S is located is in modern style, with large floor to ceiling windows, exterior iron railings and exposed stone; indoors the atmosphere is warm and comfortable, created by wood floorboards, more exposed stone, and elegant modern furniture.  The apartment is cool and inviting in the heat of summer, and has a splendid panoramic pool..

Paola’S, with its location in lovely Belgirate, will ensure a relaxing holiday; open all year round, it is a perfect observation point to see the changing seasons and the ever marvellous Lake Maggiore.  There are two bedrooms and a bed can be added on request.  The modern stainless steel kitchen is sleek and equipped with all kinds of appliances; in the spacious living room, guests can sit at the dining table for their meals or relax on the sofa, watching the flat screen TV.  Parking is available, but visitors are bound to forget their cars during their stay, preferring to sit in the garden, or walking on the lakefront; even when having breakfast the lake is in view.  The owners live on the first floor and are always happy to help with any request and enlighten their guests with information about the local attractions and history. In the garden, you will also find a small lovely wooden house in their garden, Il Fienile, ideal for couples. Furbished in a warm and cosy style and fully equipped, it has a magnificent view over the lake.
