Just ten minutes away from Saint Vincent, on the ground of Aosta Valley, the tiniest of the Italian regions and homeland of the most imposing mountain chain of Europe, is Perrière, a picturesque hamlet where nature and pristine environment present the background of many scenic itineraries. From Maison Perrière it is possible to go to play at the Saint Vincent Casinò, which is amongst the biggest and most important casinos of Europe, or to relax at Fons Salutis SPA. Aosta, the county seat and a cheerful town, Champoluc and Gressoney, both renowned ski resorts, or the Grand Paradiso National Park, located between Aosta Valley and Piedmont, are within easy reach. Amongst the tallest Alpine peaks of Central Europe, there are the massif of Monte Bianco and the massif of Monte Rosa, which offer a real paradise to any winter sports lover, thanks to the length and spectacle of their Alpine and cross country ski tracks, and their trekking and mountain bike paths.
In this pristine background of Aosta Valley, with never-ending grazing lands and evocative mountains, stands Maison Perrière, a small farmhouse, which was entirely restored. Here it is possible to sojourn in total serenity and harmony with the surrounding nature, a perfect location for holidays. The carefully looked-after vegetable garden of the Maison Perrière faces the mountains, which are snow-covered, often even in summer. While lying down in the sun, the birds chirping and the cowbells of the grazing cattle create a special background music. The stone house has two stories, and its interiors combines pale wooden partitions and beans – typical of chalets – with plastered walls.
The Maison Perrière has six lovely rooms. Each of them is named after a tree from the surrounding woods, and they all are provided with a beautiful wooden balcony, decorated with flowers, to let the guests fully enjoy the wonderful sight. The rooms are furnished in a farm house style, which includes some colourful sheets that create a warm and cozy ambience.
