Agritourism Villa Bissiniga is located in Salò, in the middle of Garda Bresciano High Park, in Lombardy, between Manerba and Gardone Riviera with its the D’Annunzio museum, which is half an hour to the North from Desenzano del Garda  and forty-five minutes  from Sirmione. Salò is a cheerful town located on the so-called Riviera dei Limoni (Shore of the Lemons), a fruit quite common on this bank of the Lake Garda due to the mild climate. On the slopes of Mount San Bartolomeo vegetation is rich in cypresses, olive trees, and rose-bays. For more than a century, Salò has been a successful touristic destination, as is testified by its buildings. It is possible to move around on boat. You can even reach the opposite bank to explore the wine-and-food paths in Bardolino, Lazise, Garda  and to visit the Amusement Park of Gardaland. Straight from the villa you can follow itineraries dedicated to trekking, mountain biking, following the typical rural activities, and observing the animals living in the property.

Agritourism Villa Bissiniga, surrounded by a luxuriant park of ninety hectares, arises on an upland from which is possible to enjoy – thanks to its terraces – a romantic view on Salò Gulf and Lake Garda in Lombardy. This ancient mansion, after a long restoration, has kept its original architectonical traits. From the outside, it stands out thanks to its red and white stripes, and its yellow and orange tint.  Three gardens surround the building, offering a botanical path that includes medical plants and century-old shrubs; all this is open to the guest to take pleasant strolls. The olive tree   is the most common in the area, and it is produced extra-virgin olive oil is produced from it. Inside the mansion, in-sight stones and bricks interchange  with plaster and cove grassello tooling. There are some painted ceiling coffers, others with frescos. The main hall of Agritourism Villa Bissiniga, provided with wide windows on three of its sides, seems to be the perfect background to admire the surrounding nature while tasting local products for breakfast.

Agritourism Villa Bissiniga has twelve rooms. They all are different from each other, and each one is named after one of the winds that blow over  Lake Garda. The rooms take us back in time, with their in-sight beans, marble or parquet floorings, wooden in-style and ancient furniture. Some of them have frescoes, one has a mezzanine, another one an original fireplace. They all are provided with some of the most recent technological equipment, including Wi-Fi connection.
