Albergo Borgo Vistalago is in Lazio, north-west of Rome, which is only about 50 minutes away. Situated as it is in the medieval centre of Trevignano Romano, the hotel is close to the Sabatini Mountains and right on the northern shore of Lake Bracciano. In this stretch of water, of volcanic origin and one of the largest lakes of Italy, vela, windsurf and scuba diving can be practised, and there is also an 18-hole golf course approximately 10 km away. The Natural Park of Lake Bracciano and Martignano can be explored on a bike, on horseback or following trekking routes.
Albergo Borgo Vistalago is an “albergo diffuso”, a hotel that comprises various houses, all carefully restored and located in Trevignano Romano. The main building is a two-storey villa, with a sloping roof and wonderful views over Lake Bracciano, which stands in the middle of its satellite edifices of medieval origin. Breakfast is served at the bar on the town square.
There are 11 suites at Albergo Borgo Vistalago, situated in the different buildings; two of them are split over two levels. They have been recently renovated and furnished with pieces from local houses and workshops; each suite has its unique, distinctive character and a uniform design, which is clean and modern whilst incorporating the antique furniture, or the stone walls and exposed ceiling beams that decorate some of them. They all enjoy lovely views, as they look out onto the streets of Trevignano Romano or over Lake Bracciano.
